DJ's You Admire and Why

Pretty self explanitory.

Paul van Dyk
.....Fell in love with this Energy 2003 and Nature One 2004 sets. Seen him 5 times... he is a great crowd reader. Love his recent Abelton/MIDI work. His set programing is top notch, he is one of the few who can keep my interested for 3+ hours. A true pioneer of EDM IMO.

James Zabiela
.....Probably the most technically capable DJ in the world. Not much else to be said.

Carl Cox
.....Insane energy and crowd interaction both times I've seen him.

Ferry Corsten
Desyn Masiello
Andrew Bennett
Luke Fair
Giuseppe Ottaviani
Tom Stephan
Ronski Speed
.....Some of my personal favorites.

Ok, now you go.

Sven Vath. Love his track selection and he knows how to work the crowd and the way he still uses vinyl makes it more visually interesting.

Cosmic Gate The sets from Trance energy 2001 and 2003 are so awesome. <3

Ferry - <3 punk & Fire Also his sets are pretty energetic

I dont listen to Sasha and Digweed much but their 3+ hour set from Argentina is insane. Everything flows so well together.

James Zabiela - Not much can be said, definately has an unique sound and great technical skills.

ATB- He is good as a DJ but godlike as a producer. My favorite producer.

Eddie Halliwell - I like his sound

Niklas Harding
PVD
Armin
Johan Gielen

I've gotta say Armin by far.
The man is a certified judge, which proves you can still go to uni and be a successful DJ.
He's been running ASOT for almost 280 episodes now
great producer, remixer, and isn't cocky about his work.
Sparked a huge dance movement in the Middle East at Distant Heat 2 in 2005.

BUT
props to PVD for encorporating so much technology into his sets
&
props to Markus Schulz for havin a unique style that rocks the house every set.

pvd definatey number 1 saw him in june in ibiza and his 4 hour set was a blinder. he finished at 7am and not one person had left or was prepared to leave.

disappointing dj ive ever saw was mike (push). really poor set he played, never saw a crowd leave so quick. if you want to get people out of your nightclub get mike to play.

Danny Howells for leading the modern "defy genre" charge and doing it so well. The man's inspired loads of DJ's, myself included.

hernan cattaneo!
his mixes are so fucking smooth! and his track selection is to my liking as well.

one other that comes to my mind right now is carl cox. i'd really like to hear both of them live, but the chances for that are pretty slim here in finland.

J00F: extremely hard working and down-to-earth...one of the lesser appreciated "superstar" dj in my mind.

Donald Glaude: energy energy energy...one of the purest dj entertainers i've ever seen.

Zabiela: same reasons as everyone else *shrug

3 djs that stand out to me considering i dun even really listen to the type of stuff they play.
