i`m NooB help

well I Like Trance and i was reading a lot lately on synthesizers and midi controllers my question is : synthezsier is also a Midi controller ? i mean the synthesizer can do the the thing that Midi controller does ? or i need them both ?

Synthesizer is what creates the sound. Midi controller is what is used to control the parameters on the synthesizer rather than use a mouse.

But there is a lot more involved than just these two things. I would suggest reading more tutorials, maybe buy a cheap sequencer and start from there. Worry about synths and controllers later

I think his question is, "Is there any point in having BOTH a MIDI controller and a hardware synth, or do most hardware synths have the same functionality as a MIDI keyboard included."

anything with a keyboard and a midi out is a midi controller pretty much. so the answer to you question would be yes... i think.
