SSL 1.62 Prob.

I've been using this prog. since the 1.4 ver with no probs at all. Even the 1.62 update worked fine, but just yesterday I started to get this popup when trying to open the prog:

ScratchLive Application has encountered a prob. and needs to close. Sorry for the inconvinence. with error report.

It doesn't even let me get onto the 'decks' screen. I've tryed deleting it and reinstalling it with the winXP drivers and still nothing.

Anyone going through the same prob?
My last resort is to reinstall the OS, and hope that it fixes whatever is going on, but saving 40gigs onto cd's is gonna be a biatch!

any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks for the response vision, I actually reported the prob and he said to try this:

1. Close Scratch LIVE, if open.
2. Open your My Music folder.
3. Inside the My Music folder you'll find a Scratch LIVE folder, open it and delete the DatabaseV2 file.
4. Restart Scratch LIVE.

And i'll be damned, it worked!
Just wanted to put it up here incase anyone else ran into the same prob when upgrading.

back up your stuff

You should take this as a hint that you should back up. If you have 40 gigs of music with no back up thats insane. Get an external hd to back your stuff up on. The price would be cheep compared to having to get all your music again.

if it is external hard drive, then it is a problem. Scratch Live will help you on that, try their latest public beta, 1.63 PB 3. See if that solves your problem.
