Another moto or a car?

I've gone thru 2 bikes in the past year. The first one [Ninja 250] was vandalized, so I sold it. The second one [Ninja 636] was hit by a car and totalled(i'm fine thx). The next moto I want is a GSX-R1000. I already bought $200 cycle boots, so that makes me want a bike more than a car.

What would you do? I kind of want a car so I can drive my girlfriends around, you know? Safely.

Depends on how safe you feel. You've had bad luck with the 1st two bikes why risk it on a third?

I dunno. I love riding. I love blasting off at intersections and whooping the most expensive sportscars on the road. Having a motorcycle is an ego booster. Not that I need it, but yeah.

For every 100 cars there is probably like 2 bikes. I like being unique.

It's not so much the safety issue but the fact it's about as much fun as being taken out for a date in a shopping trolley over 5million potholes at 100km/h, except you can't wear any loose clothing and the helmet messes up your hair.

A motorcycle is pretty much a coffin on wheels. Sure, you might be a great rider, but the other fockers on the road could finish you off at any minute.

Car.

^^lol ygrene...that is perfect!

i was pretty close to buying a bike when i was 21. story - my cousin bought a bike and was to take me to buy mines. he bought a r1 and i was going for an r6 since i was kinda young. 4th day on the bike he was breaking her in on the highway, someone clipped him, put him in a coma for 3months. investigators told my aunt and i shit you not, that my cousin could of been a victim of another parents greed. wtf does that mean? well the detectives said parents are paying people to clip bikers so that they can approach these bikers parents asking if their children don't make it if they would want to donate their organs to their children. how fucked up is that lol...i sat there listening thinking this world is fucked up..

needless to say i never got a bike, to this day i want one, but the though of being killed so someone can have my organs just makes me not want to ride a bike. sad but true

Even better in black and yellow:

IMO, going from a 250cc to a 600cc, then to a 1000cc is a big jump. This gixer is a hell of a bike, and a very dangerous ride, but fucking fast. It'll beat a porche 911 turbo. Not off the start line, since the porche has much more grip, but as soon as you get it rolling and throw it into second, you're gone before you can blink.

I'd stick with a 600cc sport bike, or at the most a 750 (again, if you can find a gsxr750). 1000cc is just too much IMO.
