Insane, especially now. I used to play a lot of guitar, for 10 or 12 years music was my life. I quit playing for a while and I didn't care anymore. I stopped buying cd's, I didn't download mp3's, I didn't pay attention to concerts anymore. Last year I started playing again and then this summer I discovered house music. Everything changed with that. If I had to go back to the emptiness of life without music I would go insane, more insane then I was when I was without it the first time because now I really know what I'd be missing.
When your feeling down doesn't a song pick you up? When you are feeling romantic can a song not set the mood? When you want to get some aggressiveness out of your system can a song not do that for you? Doesn't music bring us together? I think music is an integral part of what makes us human, the most primative of societies had music.
