here's some entertainment for you all...slylee got played last night!


ok so...i met this guy at Sasha (club space) on saturday...friend of a friend, bla bla. we rolled together and "bonded" (you know how it goes when you have a really good roll with someone). we had this great chemistry, he came to my house...no we didn't sleep together or anything, but we definitely had a very touchy-feely makeout session and talked A LOT about everything...music,etc.. so he's been up my ass all week. really sweet text messages and stuff like that. i've been rather excited about him actually. He even sent me a msg yesterday telling me he’s having trouble coming up with a new password for his work laptop so he was just going to use my name I was just like, “lol um ok”

SO…I go to his place last night because we were gonna go out for dinner. I go up there and he’s playing some music for me and pours me a glass of wine and we’re sitting on his couch, smoking a bowl before we leave, and he starts going on about how he wants to know what I want to know about him…and that he is surprised I haven’t asked him much about him. I was like, “well, there’s time for that, do I have to interrogate you right now”. he laughs and then starts this whole speech about how much he likes me and how he’s really glad I’m there, bla bla bla. So he’s like, “ok, so here’s the deal Jamie…I got something to tell you, I need to get this out of the way” I immediately think in my head, “fuck!” but I remain calm and I just look at him and he’s quiet and I’m like, “what…do you have a kid or something?” and he laughs and says, “no I don’t have a kid Jamie” and I’m like, “you’re married?” and he’s like, “haha no, I’m not married…but…I’m involved with someone”

I’m crushed and shocked. I just stand there and look at him and I’m like, “right NOW? like…you have a serious girlfriend?” and he’s like, “yea” and here comes the kicker…he’s like, “she lives with me”

“WHAT!?? Where is she now?”

“she’s at work”

*silence*

So then he goes on to explain how sorry he is, and how much he really likes me and that he just couldn’t bring himself to tell me on Saturday because he’s never met anyone like me and he just didn’t really know what to do.

THEN…ok it gets better. He goes on to say how his girlfriend is bisexual and she “has her fun”. I’m like, “are you telling me that you guys have an open relationship or something?” he tells me that’s not the case, but that she is super cool about him doing his thing and going out and that they aren’t the type of couple who are attached at the hip and she is fine with him having female friends over and stuff and that she trusts him (HA!). He even said that she would probably really like me and vice versa.

Then he’s like, “look, can we just go to dinner and talk some more about this?” I say, “Well, I’m not exactly going to enjoy myself if we go have dinner so I think I’m just going to leave”. I go and get my purse and he walks me down to my car, still trying to explain how much he likes me and hopes that we can still talk. I’m completely angry and freaking out inside, but surprisingly, I’m remaining very calm and collected. He grabs me and gives me a hug…I don’t really hug him back and I just say, “Well, good luck with everything” and he just stands there and I walk to my car and leave. He then proceeds to blow up my phone with lengthy text messages about how special and beautiful I am and he hopes I’ll change my mind, blab la bla.


So yea. Moral of the story is DO NOT MEET GUYS AT CLUBS. I’ve officially learned my lesson. I mean, meet guys at clubs, but not guys you think you might want to seriously date.

I’m so angry about this, this has never happened to me before. The shitty part is that I’m actually really on the ball about stuff like this, and there was something…I don’t know what, but there was definitely something shady about the whole situation, but I decided that I would hang out with him a bit more and try to figure out what it was that bothered me about him. Well I guess that’s what it was.
