Worm Popper darker electronica, short clip, need opinions

hey this is a song im currently working on, its not exactly finished song-wise but the percussion thats there and the bass is pretty much done. I was hoping some of you guys could give me a second opinion on the mixing and overall tone and high/low balance of the track. Thanks

I think it's very good, but you could speed up the progression a little. What did you use to make it?

balance sounds good. low end sounds a bit muddy though. and your kick could use a little more definition imo. just something like a little bit of pogo on it to give a slight click.

I use fruityloops, and a lot of aftermarket VST effects. XTC, I thought the kick had almost too much click already, and I tried pogo on it before, it screwed up the bass so I took it off. It might be a little muddy, Im gettin new headphones soon so I'll check it on those. TME, the song structure and melodies aren't all completed, but the backing track is pretty much what you're hearing here. I might change the leads I have in there now unless you guys think they sound good? Thanks for opinions

Hi,
the kick doesnt sound too bad imo, i really like the bassline...
the top end sounds a bit a harsh to me, especially the top end of the snare...
not sure about the actual chord progression but the "sound" of the lead itself is nice...the bassline interests me at the start but when the lead comes in, i dunno, i think u could come up with a better chord progression or whatever
its got potential, good work
