HELP! Turntables or CDJs

I've been off and on about this for a while now... but I'm still debating whether I should get turntables or CDJs. I'm planning on buying something like Torq or SSL anyways, so what's your opinion; CDJ-200/800s or Technics?

Btw. I already have a Pioneer DJM-400.

that's really a choice you have to make. We are not going to be playing on your equipment. I sure you have done your research so no point on saying what's better vinyl or CDJ's... theres already about one zillion post about that. Just get what you think you can do more with.

I've never understood the point of having both SSL/FS/Torq, AND CDJs, so I'd say turntables.

Aside from that... get whatever you want.

yes just get whatever you want if you are getting Serato or Torque.

If you are getting CDJ's get the 200, beacuse the 800 are not worht the Xtra Money.

They're well worth the extra money.

Anyway, if you plan on getting SSL or Torq, then I would say get some 1200s.

I started with CDJs, but soon decided that I wanted to experience the "feel" of vinyl for myself. I've been a vinyl guy ever since.

Turntables.

Ok, I think I'm gonna go with the 1200s. That aside, where's the best place online to buy them?

And, should I go with the MK5s or fork out an extra $100 on each MK5G?

Turntables are great.

But CDJs are better. Much more versatile, and they're the future. You can be far more creative on CDJs than you can on TTs.

There was a great section on the JooF site I saw recently but cannot find now - but it underlined the importance of not overlooking the whole CD thing.

Unless you spin DnB then there's really little point in getting TTs.
