especially for someone who's been posting here for nearly 5 years, but how do you send a pm to multiple people?

Usually use a comma or semicolon between the user names.

I'd more than likely go with commas. You could always run a test to a couple of people who wouldn't mind and see which it is. Use me, if ya want.
