something about describing a "shuffle"??
i have a question about a suffle? like have you heard in some tracks how the entire shuffle of how the beat plays drifts upwards sometimes? like if you was to draw a ling that started at a point and then softward and then downwards again, but over and over again. what would you use to emulate this? and not really referring to tempo, it could be the tempo but like ever heard clear and present and how it kind of shifts directions and shit but it is part of the melody. could i do this with mixes and mess with the groove of it?

Sounds like by shuffle he meant Structure of songs, and by drifting he meant beats fading in and out when a melody comes in? Changing direction thing sounds like a kick roll when it starts to phase?
