hey nice sample to start. requiem for a dream isnt it?

ill start by saying im not a fan of psy.

i think your mix is done well and it all sounds clean. i think your percs could be louder. and a more powerful kick could be used. however weak kicks seam to be the order of the day with most psy so it should be ok.

melody - it is requiem i like it. the melody works but i think it is a little cheesy.

Sounds nice, the samples are great! Good synths and bass but yeas, the kick could be stronger. Like the cheesy melody! Well done!

commenting as I listen....

Love the intro... suprisingly much different from the GMS version. Started sounding very trancy. then the blippy sounds came in... nice touch on them btw.
completely created a new sound for that lead melody. Kind of trancy but I like the way it frequently changed throughout the song, but torawrds the beginning it was a bit repetitive.
lovin the chug you got going when she starts saying "Everything's all mixed up", "Blue in the afternonn, orange in the Evening" Mixed Up Mixed Up. Love what you did with the samples in between 5:30 - 6:30.

with a track that you know, it's way easier to do...
cuz you know where things should go a bit better...

the kicks a pretty good kick...
got if from the fellas over at Nano Records...
maybe I'll squish it up a bit or double it up to get it sitting up higher in the mix...

should have that done by the weekend...
