(REVIEW) Aria Closing Party - R.I.P Aria

I was there few minutes, the time for a last look,a last music session.

Since the opening,I was going there to have fun with friends and this year, got the chance to play in the historical club.

Last night...
I heard a part of Creator's set ,nice job!!
I heard few minutes of King Louis set, you started it well, great!

Lots of people, nice vibe! Happy to see some knowned faces!

R.I.P. ARIA - 2006

dude

epic night

low turnout but crowd energy made up for that

marco layed down one of the best sets I've ever seen from him.

Louis pumped out some fkn quality... awesome opening!!!

maus is really slamming... she went a lil too obscure minimal tech at times but made up for it with a banging finishing

creator really dazzled me man... some quality choons man and some nice mixing.

crowd became light at around 6... kinda a downer but it was nice to have tons of room to hop around.

props to... wow this is a big one... erika, haki sak the extrodinaire, tag the drunk, selma and her boyfriend who are super sweet, bertuzz, martin, that fkn russian, sketchy black guy trying to offer my friends GHP out of a bagyy... FOR REAL... Gabriel, who it was a pleasure to meet and wouldn't stop dissing my tennis backhand, roomie rocking it on the dancefloor, alexxxx who actually showed... no duuuhhh. A big thanks to Louis for teh hookups. ALLEZZZZ LOUIS!!! :P

good bye aria... its was weird walking out of it this morning... last time that sun hits you when you exit onto st-denis and reality sets in

GOODDDBYEEE ARIAAAA

ps: brendan was drunk and kept touching me in my no-no spot...

/marcus dies

Marcus you mofo, i guess i didint show ithere ey? pfff

Wow, what a night, i have to say it was great all around, but the whole time i was so sad. Just thinking of all the djs i have been exposed to over the years because of this place, made me want to just not leave.
Very strong sets by everyone, Maus never stops impressing me, Creators not my style at all but i have huge respect for his mixing prowes, Louis sound has really matured into something special, big props bud. Musically, it was a great way to close the place donw in style, good job to all.

Il never forget the first time i saw Howelles for his monster 12 hour sets, the time Mauro fucking destroyed the place a few years back (2004?), the time i actually got to see Laurent Garnier, the time Dave Clarke didint show but Preach took us to school, the time Zabiela changed my whole perception on mixing, the time Porter and Sasha took everybody in that room to another planet, the time Sasha scared the shit out of me with his airdrawndagger stuff...
I could keep going on and on.

Aria, I will really miss you, you have been very good to us over the years, and you will never be forgotten or replaced.

And depending on if you live at CFB Kingston your cost of living is probably very low as well, but even if you weren't cost of living in Kingston isn't that bad. Its only $30 which is cheaper than most nights at Stereo. Most of us on here who post about Stereo have put out probably hundreds and hundreds of dollars clubbing there just this year alone, and have never really complained for the most part. I know I sure as hell have.

K I really don't like that pic bro; take it off plz.

...

I'm kinda broken-hearted...Don't have much to say, except that the time I was there kinda SUPER sad on the inside...looking at SO much history...GONE, all of it, BOOM, gone. And ya I know I wasn't around for its glory days but damnnnnn, I felt something hurt real bad inside of me when I was watching that dancefloor in my last few moments there.

More later...

OMG soooooooooo nice to see sooooo many people, you guys rock
