If I had to guess I'd say it's likely there's intelligent life somewhere. I doubt it was above O'hare though.

Uh it is a UFO because no one know what it was. Even the FAA said it was "probably" some type of weather anomaly but they still didn't know exactly what it was..so that makes it "unidentified". A UFO doesn't mean it's neccessarily an alien spaceship. So those saying it's not a UFO, are implying they know what it was....when no one exactly knows what it was.
