reply!
I hear ya man. (trust me I do) I thank-you so much for taking time out of your day to reply.
I have been mixing for roughly 2-1/2 years. I have some of the best gear out there (bedroom wise setup) I mean im nearing Club setup almost. When I started mixing I started using BPM (counters on my DJM mixer board) I think thats what made me so poorly of a dj NOW. I find it hard at times EXTREMELY hard to BEATMATCH **trance** If you go to my site & get any progressive mix. I AM 100% better than trance. *transitions wise* I don't really PLAN my next track I go with the feel... I what I like. I try to imagine a beat in my head with the track thats playing on the P.A. system. If it sounds good in my head.. I throw it on. I love trance so much.... but I am nearing either stopping mixing completely or changes genres (mixing wise) I am 22 years old and I really wanna start getting club gigs but its comments liek yours that reassure me I am not ready. I feel in my heart I can bring a UNIQUE style and now so much MAIN STREAM trance/house. I have stuff that some people on here would be like damn thats a hard track. some stuff from 1997 that people on here might not remember.I mixed this in my basement on FS2.0 I do think I have improved a tad but I should be way better for MIXING 2 YEARS! thats what eats away at me.
Ill def check out your mixes and get back you you.

First of all, can i ask was this live or did you have it planned
ie in your bedroom? Don't mean to be harsh but the first mix when you brought it in was kinda dodgy, then you rectified it, in my opinion if it was a bedroom mix you should've just started it again, cos what i do is generally try and get the first mix to be perfect and if you mess it up try and try again til it's perfect.
How long have you been mixing for? (I don't want to be too harsh if you haven't been mixing years and years!)
So basically the start of the second mix was out too to begin with and the third mix into no more rain was in to begin with but it seemed to go out too near the end, and i don't think it sounded good with watching the waves. But to be fair, i have this tune i find it hard to mix in myself, and think it is pretty hard to get a tune that goes really well with it.
I thought the mix into the tune that goes 'it's alright' (We are connected ?) was quite good, probably the best mix of your set
But then again like no more rain, i don't think Nothing but you sounded good, i mean that the tunes didn't sound good together, maybe it was exactly where you mixed it in. Can i ask, when you're planning a mix (if you plan it), do you work out exactly where you are going to bring the tune in, because sometimes this really makes the difference. Like if i'm making a mix and have it all layed out on paper i will write bring this in as soon as the last breakdown drops or, bring this in 2 phrases after the last breakdown and so on, as sometimes some noise drops out of the main tune, meaning that the tune you're mixing in doesn't clash.
The last tune is labelled wrongly, it's kuffdam and plant i'm sure, the ones we loved i think.
Anyway decent enough job, but i felt that nearly every mix you done wasn't perfect you know what i mean, like there was always something out in some way. I didn't want to come on here and say great mix mate, and wanted to provide an honest opinion. Though it's hard to know if it may just be because you haven't been djing for years and years. If it was me (i don't mean this in a rude way) i would practice the mix again then do it again and see if you can make the transitions a little smoother, but i do apologize if my comments do seem harsh or rude!
Maybe if you get time you could check out my mixes here, maybe tell me what you think:
