There's a word that sums up this sort of behaviour, and that word is 'reject.'

Oh you kids!

Really you come here with this wonderful revelation that industrialists are the cause of all the worlds woes, seriously though, who here has actually moved out of home and lived in the real world?
Hmmm, well go on, dont be shy, say hello world.
See the only reason industries do the things they want to do is because of...
YOU
Isn't that nice of them?
Not really, because theyre out to make a buck and like everything that involves a few cents here and there, it really comes down to you, the funny little chap with a dollar in his pocket that fairly much makes or breaks Mr/Miss Industrialists heart and their business if they didnt do it this way.
Why is this problem YOURS?

Because youre a tight arse.
People with a dollar in the pocket are the biggest problem in the world, not the industries which support them, getting that damn dollar out of your pocket, into the drink machine and getting the can of drink, next to all the varieties of drinks is the biggest battle.
It makes Iraq look like McDonalds birthday party, because theres only a couple of factions out for all they can get at the McHappy trough, here though EVERYONE, every minute of every day forever, fights for anything they can get.
Because they dont want to spend a dollar
They want to spend $0.50
Given half a chance and figure they won't get caught they'll be kicking and tilting that bloody drinks machine from side to side to shake out a $0.50 can of drink. If theyre really lucky they'll be squashed underneath it for the amusement of us all in the process in tommorrows paper
"Man loses legs because he didnt want to pay 50 cents!"

Because you want it and you want it cheap.
You dont want it good, well actually everyone wants good but they 99% of the time settle for 'it'll do' instead and continue on their merry way. If they didnt want 'it'll do' they'd not spend $0.50 and they'd instead go looking for good which will cost the full $1.00

You wander around in the world doe eyed wanting good, settling for 2nd best and cry foul when 2nd best turns out to be, 2nd best. Why is it 2nd best?
Because you want it that way or, cant afford it. But essentially 1st class is exactly that, it uses the best and you cannot fit the ingredients in the can which will make some kind of profit as the best selling, cheaper product.
