anyways, found the acapella, started messing around, added a synth or two.

percs definitely need some work. want to give them a little techier edge.

but this is what came out after some mucking around

i kinda like the percs and the overall laid-back feel of it, don't like the stutters on the vocal. nice staby(?) sound starting around 1:00
a nice bassline would really give more groove to this sample.

worth finishing imo

i like everything except the vocal stuttering...work on that, and add a bassline.

I could be wrong, but I think the vocal stuttering is a tad overdone. Don't get rid of it... but don't beat it to death.

more specifically about the stutter: I think it interrupts the flow of what you have going on there...like, rythmically it doesn't feel like it fits that well. I think thats what would be meant by "overdone".

But yes, definitely worth finishing...there's a nice mellow atmosphere to it
