Kinda depends...how do you correct in the mix? Do you use the pitch slider to pitch bend? If that's the case, then you should have no trouble adjusting...you just won't be as accurate in dropping the track, but that won't really matter since you can just correct it afterwards.
However, if you use the jog wheel to adjust, then you might have a little trouble. This week, pretend you don't have your jog wheel for adjusting the pitch and try mixing a set. Mix in vinyl mode on the 800s and only use the jog wheel to drop the track, not to adjust it.
Regardless, I doubt you'll have much trouble...if you're just around friends and a few screw ups really won't matter, then just use the turntables...you'll be fine. If they do matter...then try mixing as I said above and see how you do. Then decide.
