Too many genres....?

Does anyone else find all the genres talked about on this forum confusing??? Hey call me a noob but i find too many songs that could easily slide into a couple of genres of EDM... And well hey the song of the year 2006 on this forum is Not trance... although some may say it is....

about genres: there are only 7 genres of edm. everything else are subgenres, and if you don't want to use them, you don't have to. but please don't bitch about people who use them

subgenres and gengres are key I think but its when we start fusing them together that it gets kinda

Glitchy-tech-breakbeat-electro-snythpop-rap is my personal favorite genre though.
