Nico Heins - Drop Dead [Smooth Tech/Prog/Darkish]

EDIT:

Builded up on some various elements, enhanced the vocal, added some white noise with some LFO fx in it for the explosiveness.... some melodies... and some ghostly feeling pads. this version is only 3 minutes long but i think it shows the feeling of this track pretty much, hope you can say something bad/good about it! and further suggestions welcome

Listening now.

Really nice bassline/kick, very deep, maybe add a bit more lowend to the kick? Just a suggestion.

Percs are cool too, nice brushed snares and wooden percussion.

Build is good. If your on about the sorta gated noise as the vocal, maybe to make it have more impact and "explode" do something like filter out all elements but the kick and bass and the build up. then on the last bar befor it drops have only th build up playing.

Filter a white noise woosh up along with the build up to give it more presense, then again filter that right down in the final bar, then open it up when it drop giving a downward woosh effect.

I prolly nto made that clear, but it might sound good?

Bit cliché I know but whatever lol.

Like your pads too man, they are good!

Keep it up, would like to have a full version of this.

Hey mate! Tnx for the review the other day.

I like the track its dark and minimal and progresive.

But I must complain on the kick, its to low almost gone in the bass freqs, But I love the bass line very deep and emotive you have managed to keep the track intresting for the 3 mins, happens new stuff all the time. But at the same time it feels like its going nowere, try building up some tension or so? and a lead maybe?

I like it so far keep it up. Btw have a listen to the new sample i Upped made some changes on it.

Yours / Mavve
