i bought the cd single of "Mason Vs. Princess Superstar - Perfect Exceeder" Today. and want to convert the files to mp3 so i can listen them on my Zen (Mp3 player) only thing is, when i insert the cd into my computer i cant find the files on the cd. i use a program called "Dbpoweramp".. is there any other program that does find the files?
why do you go to the cd? open itunes and rip the cd from there...
does the cd play on itunes?

well if it's so fucking lame copyright protection that it won't let you even play the CD in your computer, just get a "desk" CD player, connect it to your line-in and record from there...
there's always a way out...
and btw...it's the only way to get past any protection...

I've never had any kinds of problems ripping any CD's to disk, even when they have that kind of copy protection. Just hold down shift when closing the CD drive and the autorun won't start. Whee, you've now cracked the copy protection.

In some cases they actually insert a data track before the audio tracks, so Windows loads up the filesystem and isn't aware of the audio tracks at all, and you have to load up their crappy rootkit software to listen. It's not an autorun issue, it's just that when Windows finds a data track then it ignores everything else. I doubt that's the case here, sounds more like nubness, but there are still ways around it, such as a permanent marker or a piece of tape.

Be that as it may, I still haven't encountered a single CD that EAC couldn't rip for me.
