another "i'm a girl, check out my track" thread. |
Yeah, I kinda agree. "Hey guys, look over here - 2 girls!!" Ehm...We're here for the music, ok? Anyway, to be honest I think that the issue on girl-producers is kinda strange. Can anyone name ONE successful girl-producer? And then I mean in ANY genre. Hmm.. I know only one - Imogen Heap. She's the only girl I know who produces her own tracks, and not only sings in 'em.
There is no reason why girls shouldn't be as successful as the boys. Making music is something that men and women can do just as easy without any of them being superior by nature in any way. So, damn girls, bring some music to the table
@irisdeejay: I'm gonna listen to this track and give it feedback without thinking "she's a female..let's be genlte" Right now I'm not at home - sitting on a laptop. So I will not listen with laptop-crap-speakers. Tomorrow I will listen
Cheers,
Alex Pea

I'm really glad that you liked this tune, Desty Nova; many thanks.
Ok, guys, first of all I think I must make something clear: I'm not promoting "Eh! Boys, I'm a girl, listen to my tunes!"- I don't want to offend anybody but I'm tired of these kind of threads and I swear everytime I read something like this I'm feeling hurt cos I started producing 7 years ago and I had to make much efford to improve my tracks (just like you all).
If I wrote "2 girls" in the tittle of this thread was cos I just want to get critics and cos, as alexpea said, these kind of formations
aren't usual.
Once, an American record company told me: "Hey, girl, why don't you
promote you dress a skirt?"- and I told him, f@ck you, man, I promote
my music.
I think I'm not asking for a miracle. Don't you think?

Sandra Flyn, Suzy Solar are two I can think of...
Also, Jesselyn
And that is just in Trance. If I knew anything about breaks, I would bet there are loads of successful breaks female Producers.
