if theres one thing i suck at it is organizing my stuff heh. I say the best is to organize alphabetically, and if you have a text reading CD player perhaps put the BPM of the track in there and maybe its key. I never got into either one, I usually remember the bpm for all my tracks or can just simple hear it.

I think I like the idea of 1 track per CD best. How do you go about organizing them though?
I was thinking of doing it by style (electro, funky, proggy, etc.) I know there's alot of grey area when it comes to that though. Maybe have one CD case per style, that way when you want to start playing something funkier you can move to that case.
Or you could organize by energy only and maybe divide it into 3 CD cases (1) more chill opening stuff, (2) more bangin, mid-set, (3) peak time tunes.
Or combine the 2----divide by style and then put in order of energy. What do you think?
I was also thinking of keeping a note sheet in the cd sleeve to remind you if a tune has a wierd outro or something like that.
Just some ideas..

I keep an excel spreadsheet of all my tracks in alphabetical order. On this spreadsheet i note the cd number and track number of each track.
So...when I want to play dj tiesto...or whatever...i simply look on the spreadsheet, find tiesto, then read the cd number and track number. Then, go into my wallet and pull the correct cd number which is in numerical order.

I do 1 track to 1 cd. My cd case is constantly changing. Always adding new tracks to it. The only one thing I do that would be close to being called organized is keep remixes of the same track together in the slots next to each other. Besides that I just make sure my cd case is full af bad ass banging tracks. Im constantly taking tracks out when I practice because I dont like how they were produced, or because they just don't have that hard hitting sound to them. In other words it is always constantly changing.
