George Acosta & Eddie G @ Spirits, 2-9-07 review + pics
After a week break from our weekly stint at Spirits, we came back to the full on trance night to more packed crowd at Spirits at the Hard Rock. Plus there were a LOT of blondes. Didn't listen to Cato K's set. Simon Belmont and Castlevania IV prevailed against him once again.
Edgar V, who usually starts A State of Mind, was out of town this time around, so Eddie G started the night off with some great melodic, vocal and prog trance with tracks that included:
Matt Hardwick vs. Smith & Pledger - Connected
Tiësto - Suburban Train
And a couple of other great tunes.
After him came George Acosta. His set tonight was a much newer set then what we've gone accustomed to listening to every week. Newer, better, NASTIER. I do remember him playing Daniel Kandi- Child which happens to be on my Fuck Valentine's Day promo mix lol but imagine my surprise when he played......
U2 - where the streets have no name (NU NRG remix)
TOO SWEET!!!!
To close the night, Eddie G went back up but I was feeling very sick by then so I bailed early. Great seeing Ivan, Nelson and Steve-O. Tons of girls last night at the Hard Rock. Hell, even a couple of girls from the hip hop room came to party in the main room. Pics of them though, I did NOT take. Trust me when I say, it's better that way.
Until the next A State of Mind...
DA
Pics coming in a few minutes.
