Acoustical Issues
All,
I've just moved house, and have setup my kit in my living room/front room. At the business end I have 2 x KRK RP8s. The problem I have is that the room is quite echoey, meaning that mixing is pretty difficult. What methods have others used to deaden sound? I would add that as yet there are no blinds, or wall mounted pictures or shelves, which will hopefully help to cut down on the echo.
Also, the bass has become soft and boomy, rather than the tight punchy sound I was used to in the smaller room I had setup previously.
Anyone have any recommendations, or experiences. Please share!!
