kick is a bit weak for my liking.

the melody is nice though, the sounds you used for it worked well.

nice atmosphere also.

i enjoyed.

listening:

:30 nice groove you got steup...

i expect some kind of massive rolling bassline ... dropping out some elements.

1:00 bass comes in...there isn't much kind of low end rumble...still kinda waiting for it.

are those crowd samples? lol...

this would be 100x better if you had some really nice bass with it.

2:30...breakdown...

let's hear it.

oh those are whale samples? LOL not crowd samples..

sounds a bit like adagio for strings(your string line)

synth line...nice sound...i like the patch.

3:50 you got that sidechained thingy...that's cool , but you should transition it better. and man, some really heavy bass would make this REALLY nice.

scratchy effect...uh, make it a little more subtle i suppose.

4:50, melody...
sounds nice.

6:45, another breakdown.

make somthing out of this one?

just a side note...it seems like you have a lot of fx n stuff...imo they clutter the sound spectrum, thas just my opinion. i would take ou t the whale/crowd thing.

ok anyway...no build??

this is the 2nd breakdown...there should be somthing much more dramatic than the first...

ok...that's pretty much it.

the biggest thing missing here is LOW END...man, that would make so much of big difference.

also, fx thing i already mentiond.

i liked the main melody and the first breakdown...keep it up.

By everyone's description, I'm looking forward to hearing this. As I listen:

1. The acid bassline needs a low end part. Otherwise, the kick is okay for certain kinds of epic trance, but I think it needs OOMMPHF.

2. Nice saw arps... it sounds more akin to uplifting trance than prog, but that's okay -- I love both.

3. This would be SUPER with awesome-er bass. It's almost a requirement for most prog tracks.

4. There is some clutter in the upper frequencies... BUT, in spite of it's bluntness, I see what you are trying to do with the sidechained samples thing. I see what you are trying to do and I like the vision in spite of the mixing flaws.

5. Very euphoric breakdown... A good melody...

6. The bassline rolls in with alot more steam... good transition but it noods drastic OOMPH. I'm listening on Technicas with good bass delivery and I'm still begging.

7. The melody during the trance beat needs more texture. You've got a good thing going with the arps, but the atmosphere and such needs to be enhanced because there are alot of holes missing in the spectrum of sound. I really don't blame you, it's really hard to engineer such situations successfully because of the difficulty in keeping things clear enough. Why not try to use those string you've got going on?

8. The second breakdown is a restatement of the first, and though the timing of the breakdown is appropriate, I think there could have been one more element.

All in all... good track. Good energy and such, but there needs to be bass. The arrangement is applaudible, but the subtle things could be sharpened just a little bit more.

The buil-up and the end of your track is pretty dry to me...
But the melody fills what's missing. I like your track, it's a valuable tune. Good job!!
