equipment to produce the best mix tape you can
i currently have 2 numark axis 9's, a bheringher djx700, sennheiser 25's and a dodgey hi fi hooked up to the mixer, i recently found one of my old mix tapes when i was using vynal and found the beatmatching to be alot tighter and i notice that with the axis 9 i find it harder to get the beat and 2nd to hold it im not shure if its me or not, and since i got my new comuter i no longer have nero to burn my cd's (im now on sonic) and i find that cd's i use now skip alot (i use the same brand of cd's) i had a recedency in a local culb a couple of months back and the set up ther was 1 cdj 1000 mk1 and 1 mk 2 and a pioneer djm 600 i found my mixing was the way it was when i was on vynal now im not shure if that was because i didnt wana make any mistakes infornt of a live crowd or not and i found the djm 600 to be alot more responseive giving me better controll of the eq and the mix in general with better built in effects in the mixer. so im just wanting to know if certain cdj's are more accurate than others and can hold the beats better, how much of a difference does your mixer make? does what cd burner you have make a difference in cd's skiping or would it be the tune its self? what is the best programe to use for recording from the mixer to the pc?
