A&B - Piano with Delay Effect

Can anyone replicate this for me:
A&B - in the Past - Piano Riff with Delay

If you can give me an .flp it would be great or if you could just point me in the right direction as to how the delay effect is achieved. I know it got a lot of reverb on the piano too and that the delay slaps back but it seem the is a pre-delay in that it waits a certain amout of time for the note to be played and then delays the whole riff?

Thank you in advance and yes I know it is easy for most of you! lol

there are 2 possible solutions:

1) use 2 delays. one which delays quite a bit and then add a 2nd just after it, which is much faster.

2) mixdown the piano (or use a second track with the piano melody) and delay it in the sequencer. (and then some additional delay)

It sounds like they have timed the delay to come in right before the next note on the piano, with quite a bit of feedback.. That is why it sounds like it gets faster, because at first you only have the delay of one note, then two then three.. I think..

That's right. It's a simple 6-step delay with a lot of feedback. plus i think they automated the volume of wet signal, so it seems quieter at the beginning and gets louder and louder.

It may not be just a delay, it may be repeating notes that are being hit with increasingly less velocity.
