VIP: I have gone for 4 years now. pros: you get a t-shirt, separate bathrooms, and what they call a "lounge" to sit.
The bathroom lines for VIP are seriously an hour long PLUS. MY friendS (Plural) almost pissed themseleves waiting, then having to go wait at the other bathroms because it was so ridiculous.
The "Lounge" they advertise is a bunch of folding chairs and tables behind and lower than the DJ stage so you cant even see the crowd/DJ or anything for that matter when you sit there.
The best advantage is being able to go on stage, BUT they totally over sell the VIP tickets and there are a kabillion people fighting to get up on stage. last year, there was way more space at the end, but in the beginning it was ridiculous. My opinion has been shared by just about everyone I know that got these last year, but some people will think its worth it. I guess you have to decide for yourself. |
I don't really see a need for VIP tickets. They are a waste of money IMO, because you are usually only paying the extra money to be closer to the DJ, or to be able to dance on a stage that others cannot dance on. I have had VIP (media) passes before, and I could care less. I would have been just as content with a normal ticket. The only time that I was happy to have the pass was at WEMF. I could dance on the DJ stage, take pictures, do interviews, and use the VIP bathrooms (which I didn't realize were there until the last day.
