How are the Butter Rug slipmats? Are they worth the extra $5 compared to Technics brand?

yes butter rugs are the best slipmats for scratching.
a slimat is not a slipmat. there are diff kinds that make big differences in what you can do w/ your tt's. butter rugs are one of those slipmats that make a big difference
