Trackitdown doing mp3 downloads of sample packs - good idea?

Hey folks, I know I don't normally post in here (partly because I got round to doing any production for a couple of years now!) but I've seen this and thought it was a really good idea so thought I'd mention in case some of you haven't seen it...

Trackitdown (www.trackitdown.net) are now doing sample packs as mp3 downloads - yeah so you've gotta pay for them (you should be paying for your music anyway ), but it's a lot cheaper than about £50 for a CD copy of Ueberschall or whatever.

A lot of them sound pretty good... particularly the Alexander Koning one (for all you tech heads but I reckon they'd work pretty well in trance too), there's one from Phynn on there too, a Nick Sentience one and so on.

IF I can get my arse into gear and get back on the production train again some time soon then I'd be tempted to check them out... has anyone on here got any of them yet and if so what did you think? Which ones are good?

mp3 packs wouldn't make much sense really...

on a related note, does anyone have experience from buying from www.zenhiser.com ? they seem legit, but not quite up to par with vengeance. cheap prices though :]

Dom Sweeten! when I saw that on the site, I knew it would be good, he never lets me down!!!!!

Him and Superfast Oz as f'king legends

Was actually quite impressed by the teknical one too and phynn could be useful for £15

chillsonic - The no kick drum loops and the warped fx from the zenhiser place seem good. I might buy it and see how it goes, cant go wrong for £3 really.
