Hey all, decent forum we have here. Glad to see lots of people here sharing their love for trance .

I have musical background in theory and guitar, but am now interested in creating trance music. The only thing I have right now is a copy of Ableton Live, and beyond that... nothing. No turntables, no hardware, no amplifiers, no laptop. Nothing. Could you fine folks give me a rundown on what's needed to create trance music? What hardware equipment is essential for having fun, creating and performing one's own music? What's an ideal beginner's setup if there is indeed hardware involved? I have searched for threads on the topic, and the few ones I've found are done by people who already know way more than I do. If any of you could give me a rundown on the basics of creating trance, that'd be awesome.
