I bought this about a month ago...bought it purely on the words of my friend, "Hybrid is good". I had no frickin idea what kind of music they spin, nothing. For all I know, I could've bought a rap cd. Anyways, 1 month after purchasing this masterpiece I think I should write up what my impressions are.
CD1: Wide Angle
Simply great. All the tunes are really good, and differ from eachother nicely. Always something new...the vocals in some of the songs are also really good. My personal favourite is track 5; Dreaming Your Dreams. This CD isn't your typical 'Umc umc umc' beat, as some of you may know. Its really one of the best cd's I ever bought...like a mix between break beat and some trance...some classical and some house. I think. Heh
CD2: Live Angle
OMG! The scratching in tracks 3 and 4 is insane!! I'm pretty much at a loss of words...it's amazing...but thats an understatement, to say the least.
Any of you people who have this album, what do you think?

Yep, so true. I bought this album after hearing "Finished Symphony" back in '99. I only bought the Wide Angle edition and was blown away. If I Survive, Beachcoma, I Know, Dreaming Your Dreams are all amazing tracks and they're only the first 5. Then you get into the more harder stuff yet still just as beautiful only to end up with Finished Symphony taking you away. It's after buying this CD that i starting downloading their livesets and then bought Live Angle. Now this CD is insane, i see ya there dude. Kid 2000 is awesome and the scratching is fucken impressive. But do you have the same problemo with me where the sound levels when playing go up and down on your cd? I dunno it's just what happens to me
I'm thinking of buying the Addition Remix and Production CD in the next week and i cant wait. You heard their remix of Filter - Take a Picture?... its brilliant! hurrah hhehehe. I cant wait until their next CD, supposably out later this year

Hmmm...they're here in Toronto on the 28th of March...I'd wanna go...but $$$ is a bit of a problem...not that I'd be able to afford it, cause I could, but if I went for Hybrid...I'd be down like $100 cause Wintergalactic is happening 2 days after...oyyy, maybe I'll bum some cash off my mommy

Isnt Hybrid the one who got majorly robbed recently? Nice to hear that he's back, and its even better to hear that you guys are supporting him by buying his stuff! I'm gonna start to do the same, getting artist albums and mix CD's, just as soon as they start comming out... I'll be waiting...

Yes, they did get robbed recently, although I believe they had nearly all of their work backed up. Maybe they will release their artist album this year,... we can only hope.

A amazing cd . I saw them live in seattle before a moby show. They wern't long enough on stage but still mind blowing. Hopefully someday i can see a full show.. Wish they would release some of the live mixs of there tracks on cd. The live cd is nice but would like the same tracks in a studio version.. THe remixs are also sweet. just got the Rob D clubbed to death [hybrid mix] very nice..
