Be Cool! Tranceaddict.com contest by genre - admins please read

goooooood morning tranceaddict's community......
This is my idea :
we make a contest by genre in 3 or 4 areas like trance, techno, minimal and house
the judges are the tranceaddict's admins and the admins that want to participate to the contest cant be part of jury

there aren't no prizes,no rapidshare accounts to win,or anything to win,it's all about the music for the pleasure to make music with any kind of consolle, workstation or instrument.

Only one set or live mix for user/artist is possibile to present for this competition and we decide a term/limit to present the mixes
I think that this is a good idea for the community

Please post any reply or ideas

anyway. ive been bouncing this idea around for a while, and i figure its about time i share.

so.. for a new twist to a trance addict mixing competition kinda thing, how about this:

djs vote, or somehow come up with and agree upon a stock tracklist. then, every dj would have to mix using the same tracks as anyone else. if anything, it'd probably be a longer set to allow for more creativity, and varied in terms of styles....

i'd be curious to see how creative people can be, in terms of track order, and mixing, when they know that everyone else has the same tools that they do.

and of course, we'd call this something along the lines of "mix it your damn self"

any thoughts?

edit: thanks punjabi

this is another good idea,by genre the admins decide the tracks to use ,and after the users/artists make different mix with the same tracks......but this idea limit the people that are more sectoral...
4example: if 4 u a track is a good track beacouse its used by ......sven vath...in his set,for me isn't and i prefer mix other tracks.....like my tracks, the music that i make in live .....mmmm with ableton for example,or with Qbase...understand what i want to do????

anyone with another idea.... ????
