Last night was totally brilliant, 100% montreal talent!!!
Pheek killed it, a drop every two minutes, crazy hooks on each track, and no vocals whatsoever throughout. It was a thumping experience...
Props to Vj Clandestine, her visuals really gave me the chills
It's a shame that none of you went, especially when I know that the night was more successful than Satoshi..... Help promote local talents!!

I dont know if you can get more underground than a beer brewery and those DJs. It was sick through-out, Pheek was the main attraction, he spun for like an hour and like moeva said it was pure rhythm with little or no melody and absolutely no vocals. It's good for an hour, but I personally need to hear some emotion + feeling in the tracks in order go totally nuts.
Nonetheless, it was a good night and very successful, packed by the time Pheek was clicking his mouse. Shame no TAs care enough to know (or know enough to care?) about these parties.

Heard from some friends today that it was really cool and that the venue was super dope! Wanted to make it but I was way tooo tired from Friday.
melody is way over rated, especially in minimal. Pheek is the minimal master of montreal. enjoy him while u can cause he is moving to berlin in june. wanted to make it to this but i over slept and now i am ill.

People who are true to their sound get far, and its no surprise to me that he's moving to berlin, the market in germany is far more appropriate for his sound... I just hope he doesnt forget about montrealers once he becomes massive
On the other hand its a shame he's moving in june because I'm throwing a Leftroom 2nd anniversary party at fall 07, would only makes sense to have him play... hmmm..
