Hi!
Iv'e used it for the last couple days, and I am impressed. Still learing how to use it properly, but I can record, and route effects and control my hardware/soft synths. There are some tutorials online, they got a great forum going, but nothing beat the mirc chatt. I had a question regarding effect sends and routing, and the question was answered right away. They have a great community going, and once I got thrue my head that you can't judge the book by it's cover... thease guys have a winner on their hands. They way this software development is going, adding new features and such, new fixes on almost daily basis, This DAW is going to be killer. I mean I've been with cubase since version 1, on atari, so it's like 10 years or something like that.. I've tried a lot of diefferent DAW's: Cubase sx 3/4, Logic, Sonar, Ableton Live, Pro Tools, and Samplitude, and this reaper software is working so good on my system, it made me think.. What the hell are the other companies doing? And it's not that I run a slow system or someting.. I'm on a duall core intel conroe e6600 with 2 gigs ram, but the latency I run my system using reper, is not reachable by cubase using same system. I can only say give it a try, since it's fully functional sherware, after than you decide. By the looks of it I am moving over from Cubase.
