But, yeah. That's about it, really. Marketing has shown folks are quicker to buy a disc if the DJ is the selling point, so might as well stick his mug on there to make sure we know who's the wo/man behind the decks/computer consule.

Haha there's no need for me to always go on tangents because I don't need to explain myself/defend myself with something like this. It's pretty self explanatory. Usually threads that revolve around people trying to define what trance is and isn't and ones where Ishkur is usually involved. Hate it when he gets into his "you f**king piece of shit, you listen to tepid crap, it's NOT trance, it's bullshit!" rant..when he doesn't even know what you exactly listen to or trying to say (he just knows it's not what he likes/agrees with). I've learned not to respond when he says those kinds of things or carry on the debate/argument/flame war. They are usually lost causes, no matter how much I lay it out there (as simply as I can).

Actually, his post was so long that it wrapped around the earth twice. You're only seeing the last line of it.

The reason I make long replies usually (not always) is because like I said, I try to defend myself and what I think, believe etc. I don't do it because I like to type long ass replies for the fun of it. Haha some people just don't like to be called a dumb-ass piece of shit who listens to crap music and whatever else, or for someone to mis-interpret or skew what I am saying (like straw-manning). Literally, people on here disect things I say. The whole post might be fine but one little thing I say often times gets blown out of porportion. And I sometimes get judged by people who've never really "talked to me", or even attempt to understand what I am saying or where I am coming from. It's not that I think people need to agree with me, it's usually the way that the person responds to what I am saying that irks me.

I've probaby said this before but I think people will understand your points and what you think much easier if you keep your posts shorter. That is a very basic rule here in every school in Sweden. The teacher or lecturers often gives a lower grade at an essay/exam if the answer is too long and doesn't contain much substance. I dunno about America but that should be a basic rule over there as well.

It was over here too. When we had to do an essay of say, 1000 words, we'd get points taken off for every 50 words over.
