I think you should change it so it's allowed if the link is somewhat stable... all that sendspace/etc. crap expires and the forum becomes full of useless dead links

hmmmmm i think we need a quick chat on msn just to establish what will be allowd in regards to linking to live sets then, there are other forums besides tracklistings that have threads with links to livesets

Cant do it tonight though as its midnight here and i got a 5:30am start in the morning lol

seems better to have a stable link to the live set in the tracklist thread rather than posting a link to a thread with the download link in the tracklist section.

What is the status on this? Neo, I noticed that you'd removed a couple links (from what I can tell, the ones I saw were megaupload ones). Is it just going to be no links at all, direct links only, PM only, no mention of links whatsoever...

I suppose a lot of that would depend on the legal implications, so I'm curious as to just what those would be for the different solutions, since it seems like livesets have always fallen into a pretty grey area.

It's the same in the cd-releases section, half the time the first reply in a thread is "link?" from people demanding. I think we all know where to find samples, it's not hard so why can't everyone do it. whenever mentioned to those people, they just tell us to shut up.
