Put Yourself In My Shoes.
So my roommate has a friend over last night, who decided to get drunk. Later on in the night my roommate's girlfriend calls and asks him if he wants to come over for the night. Not about to turn down some tail, he accepts and leaves his drunken friend passed out in a chair in the basement.
A couple of hours rolls by and I notice a car outside while I'm fixing something to eat. The horn honks so I assume that it's a ride for my roommates friend. I try waking him up to no success. Eventually the person here to pick him up comes to our door. My other roommate manages to awake him up and after not moving for awhile, eventually leaves with his friend. Fair enough.
Morning comes and I'm getting ready to go to work, but my shoes are nowhere to be found. I knew exactly where I left them which could only leave one explanation. My roommates friend left with my shoes. Making things more interesting: I only own the one pair of shoes. So off to work I went in someone else's shoes. Obviously they fit, or he wouldn't have fit into mine, but they definately weren't as comfortable as mine were... so it was no upgrade in foot apparel.
After I return home from work I told my roommate and he thought I was joking. Arrangements are currently be made to swap shoes.
I just thought this was a little out or the ordinary and decided I'd share with you guys. Anyone have any similar experiences/stories?
