Cool effect & pads in the beginning. When the arps slam in. I love it. The melody/progression you have going on here, is insanely unique and very intense. When the 4x4 comes in, I don't like the OHH paired on the offbeat, yet. The clap is wayyyy too dry, smack some reverb on that. Oh, and I'd wait awhile to slam the bass in fully. I really enjoy it where its just the light arpies with the strings in focus. When the percs drop out and its just the kick and arps/pads. Its gorgeous. When its all in full, its very strong. You have a significant amount of work to do, but for now you have it set out in front of you and its rolling.

Ah, now we're at the break. Awesome strings/pads effects. The arps OWNS. OMG, when the bass comes in, that sound is just bad ass... I love it. Sweet, when the kick comes in. Oh, nice bass. I thought this progression would get boring, but it doesn't. Its played a massive role in this as a whole, and it just keeps me going. OH... and it stops. Asshole... lol jk.

Great job man!!! Really enjoyed this. I think you have something big here. Now, go produce the hell out of it!

Matt, what u said made my day!

Good idea about the clap, i will get some reverb on it. Whats wrong with the hihat, is it too standard?
Gonna experiment with the bass in the beginning, why didnt i think of that.. been so focused on the later parts...

i'm very happy that you dig the melodies!

Thanks man, u gave me some ideas

Hey there

Nice track.
You have some nice ideas coming together for sure.

The over all balance in the mix is pretty good in my ears but everything still sounds a little bit centered. Experiment with some panning and also stereo widening on the higher frequencies.

Perhaps the hi-hat could be a little bit more interesting but it does the job for the track.

What I might also be tempted to do is lower the bass you have a little and then write an acompanying bass line that has a slightly higher frequency to put a bit more drive into the track. (That's what I would do anyway).
At the moment the bass is a little flat. Hmmmm now that I listen closer you do have another bassline there but it's not defined or present enough in my opinion.

Great work though.

Enjoyed listening to this.

Cheers
Nem

thanks you so much for the comments Nem, u had a lot of sound things to say.

i know what u mean about the hihat, i just put a really basic hihatloop on the track, to get something going.. gotta change it to something a little more interesting at least.

i'm currently working only in headphones so i have some trouble getting a good stereoimage, but i will try to experiment some with the fruity stereo enhancer!

yeah there is actually a sub bas, although it's barely hearable i suppose, i'm not at all satiesfied with that sound!

i'm glad u enjoyed it mate!

Cheers
