Info om Futureshock
Futureshock are Birmingham duo, Phil Dockerty and Alex Tepper. They met on a dancefloor, found a joint love of the same records and have been inseparable ever since. Being tipped for the top by those in the know it looks like they are going to have a good year.
They have remixed the likes of The Chemical Brothers, Moby, Underworld and Groove Armada. Their productions and remixes have consistently been singled-out as radio favourites by Danny Rampling, Judge Jules and Pete Tong. DJ support for their music has been coming thick and fast from the likes of Tom Middleton, Roger Sanchez, Steve Lawler, John Digweed and Sasha.
There is also Fuju a joint record label between Futureshock and Junior. First release 'Sparc' went down massively well and was Essential New Tune on the Pete Tong show (2nd one in four weeks - a first we believe). Futureshock followed this with 'The Question' a total monster of a record which sampled and old Underworld B side and got played far and wide and received amazing reviews. Futureshock are currently holed up in their tiny studio working on their debut album for Junior and turning down remixes left, right and centre.
Alongside all the above Phil and Alex are also heavily booked up with their Djing which is taking them all over the country as well as a tour of Asia earlier this year and gigs in Ibiza over the summer. Their recent set at Creamfields was recorded as part of the Essential selection for Radio 1 .

Info Paul Kane:
Liverpool DJ, Paul Kane started his career back in 1991, his focus and passion being for deep, tough American and British House (first heard in a club called 'Smile'). Paul has been heard all around the world playing beats from tough, to funky grooves, disco beats and down tempo house.
Paul started working for 'Three Beat Records' , which gave him the opportunity to supply, buy and play a wider variety of music for other DJ's and himself. Whilst working in the shop he played at various guest spots around the country. ('Back2Basics' - Leeds, 'The Gardening Club' - London, 'The Venue' - Jersey and 'Fantasy Island' - Skegness)
In 1996 his career broadened, bringing him a stateside tour with the legendary Doc Martin, playing in clubs around San Diego, Seattle and Los Angeles. This year also bought him a regular night at 'Fantasy Island', where he played to crowds of 12000 clubbers.
One of Paul's finest hours was DJing for one of the most prestigious clubs in the UK; 'Cream' (Liverpool), on their tour in Hong Kong. His success bought him regular nights at the UK superclub where he has played three New Years Eve parties including New Years Eve 2000, their Sixth Birthday party and various nights throughout the year. Cream also gave him a residency at their pre-club bar 'Mello Mello' allowing him to spin funk, hip-hop and drum and bass. Paul can also be heard regularly on Liverpools' popular Radio Station 'Crash FM'.
Another big break for Paul was, firstly being voted one of the top twenty up and coming DJ's by Ministry Magazine, and secondly having the opportunity to play alongside DJ Sneak, Basement Jaxx and Josh Wink at a 'Tight Management Records' party held in 'The End' - London. The summer of 1999 Paul played as a resident for Cream in Cyprus and in Ibiza where he played at 'Amnesia' , 'Manumission' and 'Cafe Del Mar'. He also played for them in Tenerife and Majorca.
The Summer of 2000 he played for Cream in Tenerife and he has also played in Hungary and Croatia.
He can now be seen playing most weekends at 'Cream', He played in the superclub at the Millenium and New Years Eve 2001.
The Summer of 2001, he has had a monthly residency in Tenerife, he played for them at the closing parties in Cyprus and has also played for them in Alicante, Spain. He played on the Radio 1 stage opening Creamfields and in one of the other arenas for the second year running.
Paul has also been playing regularly in Croatia, Iceland, Hungary and Austria.
As well as Djing Paul's talents also lie in the recording studio under the names 'Desert' * and 'Hong Kong Trash'. In 1997 he started up Glow Records making and assisting in the design and promotion of the releases.
He is now signed to future groove, the sister label of Mute Records where he has remixed tracks by Depeche Mode and Cast. His latest track, 'Lettin Ya Mind Go has been number one in the American Billboard Charts.

Tack tack...
