um yeah i will be there front and center!!! first place i ever witnessed john was at 1015 and i can't miss this set. i can't wait!!!!! friday here at red in LA and then saturday in SF. oh it's gonna be a great weekend

His sets generally don't adhere to any labels. They're neither "Full-On" nor "Prog-Psy" in the traditional sense, but he does play a good bit of so called commercial psy of the HOMmega variety. He has clumsily been labelled as "Psy-Trance" over the years, mainly because he is one of the few international DJs who still retain a GOA or eastern influence in their sound (see New Sound, Mahadeva, and Rasa Lila) - as well as his increasing support of Wizzy Noise tracks, which of course take on a life of their own when thrown into any DJ set.

This night is going to be awesome!!! I've spun with Ishmael for quite a number of years now and I'm confident that he will set the mood just perfect for John and Taj.

Just like DJ Blurr said, we will be in the basement holding it down with some awesome electro, funky, progressive House. So be sure to tell everyone that there's more to the basement than just a coat check!!! We need to bring life back to this awesome room!!!
