Read This! Just starting out, need software suggestions

Hello guys,
First post here, and I need some help. I have fruity loops right now, and I'm trying to conceive some techno/trance. Ive got a decent bassline down, but I'm limited on the mids and highs, I can't find what I want. Are there any other software suggestions that have more samples, or is there any way I can get more techno/trance samples online for fruity loops? I appreciate all of your help guys, thanks.
