A question about staying in hostels. Do I have to bring a towel to take a shower or how exactly do you take a shower in one?

In my experience, you don't need to bring a towel. However, most places will charge a one-time fee of a euro or two to use one. Some will provide a towel for free. Only the worst won't have any towels at all.

Sure, but it always depends on where you are. If you are near a lake or else chances are very high that there'll be at least one camping place you can stay.
