Please let me know what you guys think and let me know where I need more practice. I've been spinning for over months now and I still can't figure out how to phrase properly. Unfortunately my decks only have .1 pitch resolution, so I had to ride the pitch during the 1st and last transitions.

Sorry, what exactly do you mean .1 pitch resolution... 'ride the pitch'? What decks are you using.

Phasing, you mean for when you cue up the record? You do it every 32 beats, what i find is useful is counting them in 4's on your hand, ie when 4 beats are over extend one finger, 8 beats 2 fingers, etc til you get to 8 fingers, then cue it up.

The slider that adjusts the pitch only goes up by .1 increments which prevents me from matching the beats perfectly (this means that I need to move the platter while mixing to keep beats in sync). CDJ1000s allow you to go up by increments of .02, which is much more accurate.

Mixing isn't too bad, but maybe it's better getting proper equipment. It's hard to criticize anyone who has only been djing months plus who is using bad equipment.

Thanks! I'm using Denon S1000 decks and Numark DXM06 mixer. I'm planning to switch to pioneer CDJ800 or CDJ200 by the end of the summer.

And the good thing is with djing is...you can only get better

I like them quite a bit. However, the recording quality is pretty bad. My mixes get recorded at 128kbps and sound clearer than yours at 192.
