There seems to be a pivotal benefit of the warm weather missing from this summer: legs. In their place, a horrid fashion trend has emerged: leggings in the summer time.



Although it reaked of fashion faux-pas, leggings and skirts this past winter at least made some sort of sense. However, much to the joy of the cruel women who wish to hide their legs from men, a lighter, summer-friendly model of legging has surfaced. Now, when I walk down Queen Street on a warm day, instead of the colours of skin, all i can see is black and dark brown fabric.

Can someone please tell me who came up with this idea? Can we put an end to the madness already?

And even in winter.... I think if girls in York U can wear skirts without leggings in the harsh cold winter time....then other girls can as well.

In all fairness, the sun has been out, and so have the guns.

It would be nice to have the total package, but I'll take either one over the bleak winter.

I hate 'fashion trends' that make no sense like that. Same with women wearing belts JUST underneath their tits...wtf is with that? I was at a shop on queen buying threads and this one woman working there kept telling a client "No, a belt belongs HERE" and lowered it to their hip...lol

My guess is that they never bothered to shave their legs in the winter, and have been too lazy since the summer started to cut down the jungle that's there now, so they keep wearing those things to cover it up.

In other words, you probably don't want to see what's under there.

I agree 100% with this thread along with leg warmers, which I saw today and it wasn't even cold out.
