so the other day i needed to go buy some condoms and i asked my GF if she would go with me. She said no i have to buy them when im alone. I asked why and never really got a good answer. I asked her why do you have to buy tampons when im around....she says its different. dont get why she wouldnt just go with me.

Embarrassment although I don't know why...they're both regularly-bought commodities (esp. tampons) so I don't see why there would be much embarrassment over buying them.

save yourself the embarrassment, cut the fingers off rubber gloves. just remember not to buy the ky lubricant while your getting the gloves because then it will be obvious to the clerk what you're up to. Or you could stop being such a baby and just grow up.

I'm not a lady, but...

If a couple bought condoms together, that might prompt the cashier to visualize the couple having sex. The possibility that a cashier might be imagining that might make some people uncomfortable.
