The original german docu-drama blew me away. I'm a little of a history buff, and it really brought the gloom and doom of the last days of the Third Reich to life.

yeah that was a good movie.. although it was a bit hard at the end watching (himmler?) and his wife give their children 'magic sleeping potion' and then breaking cyanide capsules in their mouths..
