BTU Recordings Presents....Unleash Your Beats!

That's right.....BTU Recordings is proud to announce it's first ever Unleash Your Beats contest.

The prize is quite simple: A four track EP release on BTU Recordings. This can include 4 originals, 2 originals and 2 remixes, or whatever combination you want!

All genres welcome to enter!

The winner will be selected by our panel of distinguished producers......

Justin Moreh of Shiloh
Check out Shiloh here
Shiloh is one of the hottest acts in the world right now. With their highly acclaimed original artist release "Bleed" as well as the release of "Baroque: In Session" (which featured a mixed disc of originals remixed by Shiloh, as well as all the originals on a second disc), Shiloh has been the toast of the EDM world. With songs appearing on Paul van Dyk's "Politics of Dancing 2," Luke Chable's "Platipus Addicted" album, as well as Dave Seaman's "Renaissance Masters Series" album, Shiloh have become a progressive household name.

Jeff Belfi of Blue Room Project
Check Out Jeff Belfi here
One half of Blue Room Project, Jeff Belfi is one of the few people in the world that can actually say world famous performer Sasha plays everything he makes. A prolific and well known producer for quite some time under the Blue Room Project name, Jeff is now making a name for himself producing tracks solo, as well as being the head of ultra successful label, Ascention recordings.

Luke Chable
Check out Luke here
Chances are, if you've listened to any electronic music over the past years, you've heard something by Luke Chable. he's worked with all the major players: Renaissance, Thrive, Positiva, Bedrock, Vapour, Distict'ive, Yoshitoshi, Shinichi, Platipus, as well as his own label, Trojan. One of the pioneers of the Australian Breaks/progressive scene, Luke has appeared on albums released by Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Phil K, Sharam, Paul Oakenfold, Marco V, Pete Tong, and many others. His production as part of the duo Lostep have become legendary as the hallmark of progressive breakbeat perfection.

Joel Armstrong
Check out Joel here
For such a young producer and DJ, Joel sure has accomplished many things. he's released several tracks on the domestic superlabel, Proton. He's had a track on a mix compilation released by Baroque Records. He's one of the A&R heads of the Canadian label, Ruhnsong. His tracks often appear in the Top 10 lists of top DJs the world over. What can he possibly do to top all this? Try being an internationally known performing DJ to go along with it. Joel Armstrong is a name you'll be hearing much about in the future.

Gigantor of Evol Intent
Check out Gigantor here!
Having begun Evol Intent Recordings in 2000, Knick and Gigantor created a conduit suitable for their own productions as well as those by friends and like minded producers. Very shortly, the Enemy joined ranks via the internet and eventually relocated to contribute. Evol Intent began to release their own material and played at host of regional performances. Tracks like "Seven Angels for Seven Plagues", "Red Soil", and "Where's the Score" remix began generating serious popularity on the dubplate circuit; which in turn got the interest of artists like Technical Itch and Dylan. They then received attention from the Trouble On Vinyl music group and were signed to the offshoot label, Renegade Hardware. These guys have appeared on Dieselboy's "The Dungeonmaster's Guide" as well as keeping up a rather hectic schedule as touring DJs.

Deadline for entries is JULY 31, 2007

make sure to read the official rules for all details. They can be found right here!
