June 07: Sweets & Joy & Joyness [House]

To actually entice people to checking out my mixes, I attempted to write some descriptions. Please excuse my awful writing abilities because I am more of a math guy.

1. Kadebostan - Caracas Soul
I really love this track, it's a really weird and dark song, but I thought it would make an excellent opener.. hope this didn't scare people away from listening to the rest of the mix

2. Sierra - Natursekt (Lopazz Remix)
The funky & strange little synths made me choose this one.. I thought it complemented Caracas Soul very good.

3. Elias JR - Xaxa
Now that I listen back, this does seem a little out of place in the mix... but I really enjoy the fast pace and the summer vibes it emanates.

4. Julian Jewell - Air Conditionee (Sebastien Leger Remix)
Holy mother of tunage! This one is an absolute bomb... everything about this song is a romance explosion.

5. Gideon - Underwater
Underwater & Air Conditionee are the songs I have attempted to transition from the weird & technoish songs in the beginning of the mix to the more housier side of things that are about to ensue.

6. Dirt Crew - Deep (We Are) (Francois Dubois Remix)
Francois Dubois! Need I say more? From here on out it's all about the house music, except for maybe the last song.

7. Robag Wruhme - KTB (Ruhig Brauner Mix/RJT Extended Edit)
Everything about this song is pure romance explosion, from the vocals, to the bassline, to the stabbing synths.. I can't remember where I first heard this song, but I'm pretty sure it was from a Nic Fanciulli mix. Thanks to RJT for the edit.

8. Kiko Novarro - Siempre (Jimpster Remix)
Another massive tune here! I absolutely love the bassline and the violins that keep coming in and out of the song

9. Shapeshifters - Pusher (Nic Fanciulli Remix)
Your typical Nic Fanciulli track I would say... if you enjoyed Lucky Heather you will definitely enjoy this.

10. Funk D'Void ft. Jay Lee - Lovin (Your Body Mix)
More Francois Dubois woot! Everything this guy touches turns to gold.

11. Mike Acetate & Carlos Gibbs ft. Roy Daivs Jr - Jus Move (Jimpster Remix)
More Jimpster goodness. Very relaxing deep house tune that sets a great vibe.

12. Spooky - New Light (Diffracted Dub)
A lot of people prefer the Strobelight Mix, but I am a strong believer of the Diffracted Dub... I'm pretty sure everyone is familiar with this one if you are still reading these crappy descriptions.

13. Sydenham & Ferrer - Sandcastles (Pete Heller Filtered Re-Edit)
I'm tired of typing captions by now. Az definitely writes better descriptions than me.

14. Humate - Curious (Original Mix)
Curveball! Back from 93. Hopefully everyone enjoyed this little surprise at the end.

Beautiful.

BTW, the edit doesn't really need any credentializing (though I appreciate it none-the-less), I just added an intro/outro
