The other day my parents who are Afghan (my mom only speaks Farsi) are talking about Paris Hilton's news stories. WTF!?!!??!
I told them a dog who has saved a cat from a fire has done more for this world than Paris Hilton...lol.

haha, so true, I was like in shock, when CNN gave her more coverage than the war in Iraq. American society is spiraling further and further down into an orgy of consumerism and superficiality where the most trivial things are what interests the vast majority of the population.
